| Aunt Kelly with Lucas. Late Dec 2003. |
 |
| |
| Lucas ended up with six stitches in his chin on January
5th, 2003, after falling and hitting the rocking chair in Abbie's bedroom.
He had placed a stuffed animal in the middle of the room and was running
in circles around it while holding his blanket. We think he tripped
over his blanket. |
 |
| |
| The special tape that the doctor placed over the stitches,
that was supposed to last all week, in fact lasted about 8 hours.
After sitting quietly in the corner for awhile, he emerged with the tape
in his hand. The wound healed very cleanly, but there is a scar. |
 |
| |
| Squish on Lucas! |
 |
| |
| Lucas helps Daddy shovel the driveway. |
 |
| |
| Does this look familiar? He didn't panic when he
got stuck this time, he just pushed hard enough to tear the box. |
 |
| |
| Isn't this what winter is all about? |
 |
| |
| Lucas went to the doctor with a very sore throat and
ended up with a penicillin shot for strep throat, 3 stickers for his shirt,
and some Krispy Kreme donuts in case the penicillin and stickers didn't
make him feel better. |
 |
| |
| What sound does a wrench make, Lucas? |
 |
| |
| Silly Lucas! |
 |
 |
| |
| No sooner had Dad bolted this bookcase to the wall when
Lucas decided that his books needed to be on the top shelf. He demanded
that we get the stepstool out so that he could accomplish this task. |
 |
| |
| Lucas didn't seem too happy for this portrait in February,
2003. |
 |
| |
| It didn't occur to us when we bought the new computer
that the box would be the part that got played with the most... |
 |
| |
| Lucas got to pick through the sticker selection at the
hospital where we went when he got croup and could barely breathe. In the
process he learned he enjoys chewing on crushed ice. |
 |
| |
| "Ice is my favorite." |
 |
| |
| More quality box time. |
 |
| |
| Lucas doesn't always sit still for a picture. Can
you believe it is warm enough for t-shirts on March 23rd? |
