We're going on a trip!

Lucas recharges his batteries.

Lucas arrived in Los Angeles in great spirits, ready to greet his grandparents and great aunt.

There were toys waiting for Lucas, including this bunny rattle with long floppy (tasty) ears.

Grandpa Mark and Lucas get reacquainted.

Lucas doesn't seem to like carrot paste.

Lucas plays with his new set of tools (in his own way, of course).

Would you like to try my hammer?

Dad gives Lucas some tips on how to use his hammer.

The Coffman clan get started on a walk to the park.  (Won't somebody please fix my hat?  The sun is in my eyes!)

Lucas isn't quite sure what to make of this experience at first.

But he soon gets into the swing of it!

Lucas and Dad try out the corkscrew slide.

Lucas shows Grandpa his giraffe rattle.

Dad's beard feels funny!

Lucas and Myrt watch the cats.

Myrt reads "Kat Kong" to Lucas.

Lucas looks smart in Mom's glasses.
Grandma Shirley reads to Lucas.
Lucas visits Aunt Teresa at her home in Escondido, CA.

Neither Tava nor Lucas quite know what to make of each other

But Charlie knows how to taunt Lucas by staying just outside his reach.

Lucas got to give Grandpa his birthday present in person.

Have wrapping paper, be merry...

Lucas is excited to meet Chelsy and Shianne.

Shianne generously lets Lucas enjoy her Easter bunny.

On the road to Tucson, AZ to visit Marilyn and John, Lucas catches a little nap.

This road-trip stuff isn't half bad.

John helps Lucas practice standing up.

Cement mixer, putty-putty...

The Desert Museum outside Tucson made a nice outing for Karin, Marilyn, and the rest.

Look at this purple flower on a cactus!

Marilyn laughs as Lucas chews on the clip instead of the pacifier.

Next stop, Santa Fe, NM, to visit Auntie Kelly.

Hello, who is it?

Kelly and Lucas go for a swing in the Sky-Chair.

Kelly takes Lucas for a walk.
Lucas gets revved up shaking a pill bottle.
Wow! This is fun!
The Easter bunny managed to find Lucas staying at Kelly's house.
Kelly, Lorinda, and Lucas take a break in the central square of Santa Fe.
Back home, no worse for wear.
