Camp Snoopy was the destination for an Abbie/Daddy day in June.

Where else can you pilot Snoopy's doghouse?

Abbie braces herself for the kiddie rollercoaster.

Keep on truckin'.

Isn't everything tastier dipped in ketchup?

Lego time!

Abbie makes friends in a petting zoo, although the goose was hostile.

It took Abbie a while to get up enough courage to pet the sleeping puppy.

Somebody's having a good time!

One evening we had the Maple Grove Community Center “Maple Maze” all to ourselves for a while.

Lucas spent considerable effort moving balls from the ball pit to the entrance. (Of course, he was much less enthusiastic when it came time to move them back.)

Bathtub crayons from Aunt Teresa bring out the artist in both kids.

Lucas gets set in the swing ride at Como Park on a Lucas/Mommy day.

Lucas enjoyed most of the rides at the Como Zoo.

Lucas had a blast spinning the teacup and making Mom dizzy!

When we ran into his friend Hannah from daycare, they decided they wanted to ride the swings together by themselves “like big kids.”

Lucas and neighbor Jillie Cook had fun sending the torpedo back and forth along the pool wall.

I see you!

Sitting on the zoo sculptures is a favorite activity at the Minnesota Zoo, this time during a Lucas/Mommy day.

Sometimes no sculpture is needed, just a cool looking space in the rock wall.

Other times, sculpture is needed.

Chuck successfully corrals the kids with the fencing, but then can't figure out what to do with them.

So he puts them to work, straightening the fencing before enclosing the garden to (attempt to) keep the rabbits out.

Lucas enjoyed wearing the space shuttle tie clip borrowed from (who else?) Dad.

It isn't often we get all of us all dressed up like this.

Abbie gets a last-minute adjustment from Mommy before Dan and Robin's wedding.

Thirsty girl!

The kids get silly with some of the props lying around during the reception.

This piece was his favorite.

Lucas enjoys the swingset at Robert and Harriet's, during the birthday party for the Herndon kids Ravi and Stirling.
